Student performances play a key role at AADP. Not only is it a magical experience for students and spectators alike, these performances are central to AADP’s teaching methods. Students are given a chance to display their progress and work together as a group. Young dancers and amateurs have the opportunity to share the stage with pre-professional and horaire aménagé students. In spite of the different skill levels, team work brings all the students’ work together to make the performance a success. Each year, AADP runs two performances. The Nutcracker takes place each year in December at the “Espace Annnenberg”. In the Springtime a Gala production is held at the Palais des Congrès. Each year a different ballet is chosen from the classical repertory. During the school year, students participate in less formal productions that are performed for parents. AADP also organizes performances for charities. |
